Under the chairmanship of Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey Glassware Assembly Vice Chairman of TOBB and İSTİB President Ali kopuz was collected by video conference to make an overall assessment of the sector and to select the Assembly Presidency Council.

In his opening speech President Ali Kopuz reminded that Sector Councils of Turkey operates since 2006 and the public council stressed the private sector and civil society organizations in the sector is an important platform that connects a legal basis.

Kopuz also thanked the Assembly Presidency Council, which had signatures in the previous period under the Parliament's activities.

As a result of the election of the Presidency of the Assembly, Arzum Elektrik Ev Aletleri A.Ş Chairman of the Board of Directors T. Murat Kolbaşı was unanimously elected as the Chairman of the Assembly and Karınca Ev Gereçleri Pazarlama İç ve Dış Ticaret Ltd. Şti. Firm Partner Ahmet Selman Yar was unanimously elected as Vice President.

Problems of the sector and expectations for the new period were also discussed at the meeting.
