The Istanbul Commodity Exchange (İSTİB), established on October 19, 1924, is celebrating its 100th anniversary. Our Exchange has been one of the institutions that has shaped the first century of our Republic.

As everyone is aware, Istanbul is, in many ways, the economic capital of Türkiye. At the heart of Istanbul’s food sector is İSTİB. We are proud to serve this institution in its 100th year. We are working to enhance our member-focused service quality. With the support of our TOBB President, M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, we are striving to find solutions to the challenges facing the food sector.

As an exchange, while we carry out the registration, determination, and announcement of the listed products, we have also consistently taken responsibility in every matter concerning our country. Through the free training programs we offer annually under İSTİB Academy, we contribute to the institutionalization of our members.

Every month, at the “Sectors Speak at the Exchange Arena” meetings, we address the issues of the food sector. We communicate the proposed solutions to the relevant Ministries. Through our “Golden Seeds” project, we organize informational meetings to promote the widespread adoption of value-added agricultural products. The outcomes of these meetings are compiled into booklets and sent to our stakeholders. All of these activities are carried out under our responsibility to be "the voice of our members.

On the other hand, we support the Turkish Mercantile Exchange (TMEX) and licensed warehousing. We serve both as a partner and an agent within TMEX.
