    Istanbul Commodity Exchange President Ali Kopuz evaluated statement, the reduction of Central Bank Monetary Policy Committee's policy rate 200 basis points from 14 percent to 12 percent.

     

    The interest rate cuts have been continued since July and 12 points reduction has occurred in this process. President Kopuz said, “After each reduction of the Central Bank, public banks acted rapidly and made a reduction in loan interest rates. However, we cannot see the same reaction in private banks.  ‘Not only Central Bank but everyone should do their part’ for the positive impact of interest rate cuts on investments.
