PRESIDENT KOPUZ ATTENDS 6TH ECO BUSINESS FORUM IN AZERBAIJAN

TOBB Vice President and ISTIB President Ali Kopuz attended the 6th Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) Business Forum held in Shusha, Azerbaijan.
In his speech, Kopuz praised Azerbaijan’s rapid economic development and emphasized the importance of the Zangezur Corridor in enhancing trade in the region. He highlighted the significant potential of the ECO region, which has a population of over 450 million, yet accounts for only a small share of global trade.
The forum aims to promote investment and trade within the ECO region, foster collaboration among business communities, and support sustainable economic development.
The event was attended by Azerbaijan’s Deputy Minister of Trade, Elnur Aliyev, along with government representatives, business leaders, and company officials from ECO member states. Following the forum, Kopuz met with Orkhan Mammadov, President of Azerbaijan’s Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBIA).
