    PRESIDENT KOPUZ ATTENDED THE 17TH ECO SUMMIT

    TOBB Vice President and İSTİB President Ali Kopuz attended the 17th Summit Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) held in Khankendi, Azerbaijan.

    The summit, honored by the presence of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, emphasized the need to strengthen cooperation in key areas such as economy and trade, as well as environment, energy, climate change, and sustainable development.

    In his address, President Erdoğan stated, “We must further develop our vision in the fields of economy and trade, which are the main areas of cooperation within the Economic Cooperation Organization,” underlining that regional prosperity and stability can only be achieved through strong solidarity.

    In the family photo of the summit, alongside President Erdoğan and President Aliyev, were Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov, Tajik President Emomali Rahmon, Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, and TRNC President Ersin Tatar.

    The ECO Heads of State Summit, held biennially, brings together member states including Türkiye, Pakistan, Iran, Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan, with the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus participating as an observer state.
