Speaking at the meeting of the Istanbul Commodity Exchange in January, Ali Kopuz, Chairman of the Board, evaluated the export permission brought to potatoes and onions. President Kopuz stated that the decision was taken in order to ensure the supply-demand balance in the domestic market.
Ali Kopuz, Chairman of the Board of Directors of ISTIB, stated that he believes that the government's efforts on this subject will bear fruit soon: As our Minister of Commerce Mrs. Ruhsar Pekcan explained, this decision was taken to prevent high external demand from adversely affecting domestic balances.
