Hakkı İsmet Aral, Vice President of İSTİB, was the guest of the "World Conditions" program presented by Ali Değermenci on Ekotürk TV. Providing information about İSTİB “Preventing Food Waste Project”, Aral said, “There are 1,3 billion tons of food loss and waste every year in the world. Its monetary value is $ 1 trillion. In the face of this situation, the United Nations offers suggestions to all countries to take precautions. We, as Istanbul Commodity Exchange, are working to detect and prevent the situation in our country. ”
