TOBB Vice President and ISTIB President Ali Kopuz attended the program organized within the scope of TOBB - ASEAN "Establishing a Business Dialogue Platform between the Member States of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations and Turkey" Project.
Making the opening speech of the meeting, President Kopuz said, “Welcome to Istanbul, the meeting point of different cultures, religions, continents and the cradle of civilizations. The world is going through a difficult time. Growth in the global economy and trade volume is slowing down. Geopolitical risks and conflicts are increasing. This shows that a more challenging and uncertain year 2024 awaits us. "For all these reasons, we need strong international cooperation and solidarity. In this context, Turkey's signing of the ASEAN Friendship and Cooperation Agreement was an important step. "As the business world, we are happy that the Sectoral Dialogue Partnership has been established between Turkey and ASEAN."
