    President of the Istanbul Commodity Exchange Ali Kopuz evaluated that lowering of Turkey's Central Bank Monetary Policy Committee's policy rate by 100 basis points from %10,75 to %9.75, he stressed that Turkey received early precautions since the beginning of related to coronaviruses and "The Central Bank took the precautions early" he said.

     

    President Ali kopuz indicated that all the world has been spending an extraordinary period, noting that Turkey's take precautions early in all areas related coronavirus and said: "Turkey is giving an important exam related coronavirus, which has become a serious epidemic. Our country, which took precautions about coronavirus early from the beginning, also acted early in the economic field. With the improvement in pre-epidemic financial conditions, our economy was in a serious recovery period. The coronavirus outbreak threatens the future of our country as well as the entire world economy. I see this reduction as a step towards minimizing the effects of coronavirus in our country. The Central Bank's Monetary Policy Board, as can be clearly understood from its statement today, does and will continue to do its best to support our financial stability. As the business world, we find the decision positive and support it. ”
