Easy Terms for the Import and Export of “Animals and Animal Products” due to Covid-19
    (30.04.2020. 11:51:28) (Okuma: 113)

The obligation to keep veterinary entry documents in the export of animals and their products was removed under the new type of coronavirus (Covid-19) measures. Instead, this document had to be sent by the official authority within 3 months.

"Original Veterinary Entry Document" required during the export can be sent later by the official authority.

With the "Regulation on the Amendment to the Regulation on Pre-Notification and Veterinary Controls in the Entry of Animals and Animal Products into the Country" published in the Official Gazette dated 30 April 2020 and numbered 31114, documents were requested for the export of animals and products due to Covid-19.

With the new regulation made, in case of a failure due to the measures of the exporter country due to the issue of the original veterinary entry document accompanying the shipment, it will be sufficient to send the color scanned copy of the official authority in electronic environment within 3 months, instead of the original certificate or document required. This period can be extended by the ministry when necessary.
