DISCOUNT ON CREDITS USED FOR TRADES AND CRAFTSMAN

Halkbank of Turkey, will apply 50% and 100% interest rate cuts for loans extended to tradesmen and craftsmen and the balance transferred to 2020 and some loans to be used next year.
The President's decision was published in the Official Gazette dated 25 December 2019 and numbered 30989.
According to the decision, Halkbank's loss of income will be covered by the Ministry of Treasury and Finance from the appropriation set for this year's budget.
According to the Decision of the President numbered 1898, 50% interest rate cuts for the loans to be used in 2020, for the balance transferred to 2020 and for used loans in previous years,
For loans extended to tradesmen and craftsmen who are facing loss of business which have traditional, cultural and artistic value and for loans extended to craftsmen and entrepreneur trades who established their own business in the recent year and for loans will be used in 2020, %100 interest rate discount will be applied.
