The amount of support to be provided for the products to be kept in licensed warehouses was determined.

According to the “Communiqué on Supporting Payment for Agricultural Products Preserved in Warehouses Operating by having Licenses” published in the Official Gazette dated 20 March 2020 and numbered 31074, wheat, barley, rye, oats, corn, rice, lentils, chickpeas, beans, peas, 3 Turkish liras per ton for sunflower, 7 Turkish liras for cotton, hazelnuts, olives, olive oil, dried apricots, pistachios, raisins and dried figs for not less than 10 Turkish liras monthly rent support will be given.

Rent support payments will be made to licensed warehouse businesses.

Additional rent support will be provided to producers organizations registered with the Farmer Registration System (ÇKS) and their producers who purchase their products from members registered in this system, provided they keep their products in licensed warehouses. Additional rent support will be paid to the producers or their organizations for a maximum of 6 months for the product of each production year, starting from the 2019 harvest period.

According to the communiqué, in order to benefit from additional rental, transportation and analysis fee support, it will be required that the products of the current production year have entered the licensed warehouse between the start date of the storage period and the last day of the current year.

Transportation support will be given to those who benefit from additional rental support not exceeding 25 Turkish liras per ton. Analysis fee support will be given to those who made Analysis before the products to be stored are delivered to the licensed warehouse and not to exceed 25 Turkish liras per analysis.

Rent support payments are made in 3-month periods between January 1-March 31, April 1-June 30, July 1-September 30 and October 1-December 31. Additional rental, transportation and analysis fee support payments are made in 6-month periods between May 1-October 31 and November 1-April 30.
