    ALİ KOPUZ PARTICIPATED IN THE TURKEY AND EU HIGH LEVEL DIALOGUE MEETING

    TOBB Vice President and İSTİB President Ali Kopuz attended the "Turkey-EU High Level Agriculture Dialogue" meeting.

    The meeting attended by Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı was held in Brussels under the co-chairmanship of EU Commission Member Responsible for Agriculture Janusz Wojciechowski.

    At the meeting, ideas were exchanged on agriculture and rural development strategies, development of bilateral trade in agricultural products, food security, IPARD Program and geographical indications.

    In this period when food systems are going through difficult challenges, especially climate change, the parties emphasized the importance of developing relations and increasing dialogue in the field of agriculture, especially on the axis of green agreement and sustainability.
