Ali KOPUZ

Mr. Kopuz was born in Veliköy, Gündoğdu district of Rize in 1961. He completed his primary and secondary education in İstanbul Tarhan College and in Fatih College, respectively. He graduated from İstanbul Fatih İmam Hatip High School.

He started his career in his family company, Elif Meat Products Industry and Trade Co. and is currently the CEO of this company. He is also the CEO of Al-Et Food that is being operational in food sector and Kopuzoğlu construction exportation limited company.
Mr. Kopuz is also the CEO of Mega Center Building Society, the biggest Food Centre in Turkey and the second in Europe.

In the 2013 elections of the Istanbul Commodity Exchange, following his election as an Parliament Member, Mr. Kopuz was elected to be the President of the Executive Board.
During the elections held in the 69th General Assembly of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey, Mr. Kopuz was elected as the Vice President of the Executive Board of TOBB. He is married, has 3 children and 2 grandchildren
